Title: LP Detector
Post by: demastes on Jun 02, 2008, 02:13 PM
Hello all:

We finally got to take our Coachmen Clipper 1070st out for her maiden voyage.  We had a blast but I had a couple of questions about the LP detector.  It is a Protechtor model.

1)It flashed green for most of the trip but the manual says it should be a steady green.  It is a steady green, but if I test it, after the beeping and red flashes it switches to flashing green (mute cycle?) but never goes steady again.

2) Later in the trip it flashed yellow.  I suspected that the yellow was because my battery was about dead?

Thanks for any advice/wisdom!

I'm waiting for some Air Lift bags to arrive for the rear springs of our Toyota Sienna.  Anything I should be careful of while installing?

Thanks a ton everyone!!!

-Jim

Flashing green is good ... tells you it's hooked up and ready to sound off if need be!

I suspect the yellow is for lowering voltage ... getting weak.

I was curious so I just went down and checked mine (I had it popped up). I turned off the power and it went blank. I then turned on the power and it flashed for about 5 seconds then went solid green.

You may want to check-out the manuf website. ;)
