on the average how long would a tank of propane last (bbq grill size tank)
if all I use it for is to cool a  refridge on a coleman sedona?

Don't remember where I saw this, but something like 650 BTU/hr for the flame.

20,000 + BTU per 1 pound propane / 650 BTU/hr flame = ~ 30 + hours per pound propane.

30+ hours/24 hours/day x 20 lbs per BBQ size cylinder = ~ a month.

Don't know if that's on high or low!

My 20 lb tank lasted 'all season' - 20+ nights when used for refrigerator, water heater and occassional stovetop cooking.
