I agree with him. It makes sense to me in this economy. Before I got our pup I thought (because a lot of RV salesmen told me so) that people with pups were "entry level" rv'ers just starting out. I have come to realize that people have pups by choice because they love them and the freedom that they offer. We have a dealer nearby that seems to push pop ups but they are the only ones around here that I have seen. For those around Phoenix it's Little Dealer, Little Prices in Mesa.
Nice little article and I couldn't agree more. Being new to the scene and having purchased for all the reason's stated, I find myself seeing TT's, 5'ers, and MH's going down the road, and I think 2 things: 1) Who's fueling that TV :yikes: and 2) Where are they storing that year round? Of course next in line with those thoughts are the money that's been shelled out for the RV, the TV, and all the gear. *Cha-Ching*
Very good article; points well made!!!
Thanks for providing the link to the article. We purchased our pop up for the many of the reasons he wrote about. I can say our dealer has been very helpful up to this point. I hope to see what comments his readers make.

1. Who is fueling the TV? Me
2. Where am I storing it year round? When I am home, I store it about 3 miles from my house for $25 a month. When I am in Florida, it is at the campground that I am staying at.

Very simple, DW and I are spending our kids inheritance. Between us we have 65 years of teaching experience plus another 20 or so at different jobs. We worked, we earned, we saved, and now we are reaping the fruits of our labors. :)
