Does anyone belong to GS club ? If so what do you use as far as the offers they provide? It seens to me that they faver the large Rigs.
We have been GS members since 2003, although I no longer remember why. They offer lots of e-mails and tons of snail mail advertising. We have only stayed at one GS campground which DW did not like so we have not renewed our membership this year. We also have the KOA discount card which we use quite often when on long distance trips. Actually we plan our long distance trips using the KOA reservation system so we know we have someplace waiting for us when we get there.
I had a GoodSams club membership for about 3 years. We pretty much camp only at state and county parks (have only camped at a private campground twice in my life) and I found that GS seemed to be mostly for the big rigs and the private campgrounds. After I quit my membership I received regular mail about once a month from them for about another 3 or 4 years. I did not think GS was worth the investment for the type of camping we do.
