The Coleman popups (really Fleetwood), especially from the years 1996 through 1999, had serious problems with the ABS roof sagging and thus causing  the foof to lose it's seal with the camper base while closed.

Replacement costs were/are high. If you were the original owner the warranty would cover the replacement except for the frieght of the replacement roof to the dealer, which the owner would have to pay, something like $750.00 ~ and that was just the frieght. If you were not the original owner you would be stuck for the entire bill and that would probably be in the neighborhood of the current asking price of $3500.00

The first order of business would be to find out if that is the original roof and if so is it sagging. Sometimes even the replacement roof was defective. I would be very careful with this vintage popup. And as for me, considering, I would not pay that high of a price. To me, if the roof even looked in great shape, again considering the nature of the beast, I'd go no more than maybe two thousand dollars.

If the roof hasn't sagged in 10 years I doubt that it will.  Yes it is worth $3500 if the roof is good.  The Niagara was the flag ship PU for Coleman for many years.  Shower, toilet, 2 stoves (in and out), slide out dinette, 2 king beds, etc.  Good luck on the PU.:)
