I have never heard of the great american backyard campout, but I will be camping that weekend. Not in my backyard, but about 2 hours from home at Watkins Glen State Park, NY.:)

Already have ours planned.
My backyard is a little over an acre in size and right now, with the # of confirmations, it looks like I'm at 14 tents and 2 pups so far.
I will actually be tent camping with my wife and son in Denali National Park in Alaska on June 27th. I suppose that qualifies. What a great program. I never heard of the Great American Backyard Campout. I'm gonna spread the word.

We are having ours the weekend before, even though I have never heard of the promotion. We do this a couple of times a year in our pasture. We are fortunate to have about 10 acres with an open field of about 3+ acres. That was where my mom experienced her first camping trip with her new camper (and featured in an issue of PUT, too).
Our boys are off to Scout camp starting the weekend of the 27th.
Have plans already for that entire week......camping in Summersville, WV at Music in the Mountains bluegrass festival.
