Title: First time out
Post by: Yak on May 03, 2009, 12:59 PM
Took my new Flagstaff 176 to Worlds End SP Pa over the weekend and had a great time. It's small but does everything I need.

Hi Yak, nice PU!! It doesn't matter how big it is, as long as it works for you and you have fun with it :J ........Happy Camping from Vegas

Welcome to PUT :D

Congrats on the new PUP and your first successful trip!  WESP is a beautiful place to camp.  I have been there with our BSA Troop twice, but never with our PUP.  I hope to change that someday!

Thanks for the pic.

Your PUP looks nice!  And congrats on your first trip in it.  Did everything go smoothly, or will you be posting something in the "lessons learned on the fly" thread???  ;)

That's a nice camper and it only needs to be big enough to suit your needs.  Congrats on a first trip and I'm looking forward to your contributions to the thread "Things you've learned on the fly"  :D

Thanks all, not much learned this trip, it was the same as tenting but with a PUP. Being alone this time I was using a minimalist approach. I went out to iron things out and play ham radio.
