Title: New to me refurbed Starcraft Starblazer
Post by: lexlaws on May 13, 2009, 10:21 PM
Hi all.  Bought my first pop-up off my neighbor, an '88 Starcraft Starblazer... and I kind of refurbed the interior to suit our taste.  The exterior is as it was from the factory.  Gonna take her out for the first trip to Bass Lake this weekend! Got new rubber and packed the bearings! Very excited!!!

We pick up the bench cushions and cushion backs tomorrow.  Just plan on adding some marine stainless steel LED dome lights and a little gray interior paint at the roof  sides and probably the roof interior itself.

It's nice to customize a rig to your own liking isnt it?
Good job.
How long do you think it will take you to drive to Bass Lake from your location?  From where we live it would be about a 4 hour drive from the central coast.

Nice job on the interior. I like the floor. Did you put some kind of laminate over the excisting tile?

Wow, thats look really nice.  Good job!  I like the floor.  How easy is it to clean and keep from getting scratched?

Thanks all! It's a laminate wood floor... very easy to clean, and very scratch resistant!  That was important, as we will be traveling with our two pooches... a french bulldog and an american bulldog.  They can destroy anything...

The factory vinyl floor had already been updated in the exposed floor area by the original owner... just another vinyl tile deal, so I yanked it(evil sticky stuff!)... and then I completely disassembled the interior structure and started from scratch staying close to the original layout... which just works ;)
