Post by: Cat on Jun 22, 2009, 07:11 PM
Can't seem to find anything on here about adding a TV antenna to a popup? Any ideas out there? Thanks

I use the antenna I bought with the digital converter, and simply place it on top of the camper, and run the wire thru a zipper on the side. Can see it in the right, rear, in this pic.

I made a slip on mount for a Winegard Model HA-0130 using an existing roof bracket bolt. For additional photos and other mods  http://home.comcast.net/~aslag54

I added a Winegard Sensar crank up type antenna in my PU. The only difficult part was creating a tunnel between the roof panels to run the coax through. It has a built in amplifier and does a good job of pulling in distant stations.

I bought a HDTV antenna from Wally World ($38) and added a post to mount it on the front of the pup. The cable runs under the zipper flap and into the camper via the opening at the bottom of the side zipper.
