I had asked for suggestions on hauling the canoe. my husband had a rack welded on the front and back, with a pin the backets slide out. i don't have a close up photo, if you want one, i will get one for ya.

Nice job, That must be a pretty stout bumper to support the carry-all rack, the bumper on our FW would just bend.:yikes:

whatcha mean? the basket on the back? with the ice chest and 'ol smokey?
that's a purchased tail hitch 'basket'
there's a hitch on the camper, actually it didn't fit in the hitch that came with it, so, we had another one built on that was longer.
or you mean the rack that was built for the canoe?
that's all welded on. it isn't going anywhere. it's all steel.
Looks great Stella! I just picked up the steel to build something very similar for our PUP. However, I am going to build it wide enough to carry two canoes on the rack.
Post some close up pics if you have time. Thanks.
I love the canoe rack. But I'm admiring the cooler rack more. I have been thinking about adding a rack to mine that will hold two coolers. Great job.

i sure will, I will get them posted in the next few days, check your pm for my email addy.
the rack on the back, the camper already had the hitch, but the rack wouldn't fit with the spare tire, so we had a longer hitch put on.
the rack we bought as is, i forget where. my husband picked it up.
