Looking at getting a smaller camper. Have been looking on line at the Quicksilver 10' Camper.
Does anybody know anything about this one? How does it compare to the major brands? What is the pricing of it? I haven't been able to find pricing on the internet, yet. If anyone has one of these, I'd appreciate any information you could give me.

I looked at a Quicksilver at a dealer in Terre Haute, Indiana before purchasing a new Rockwood. They were priced competitively but are much more austere than "traditional" models. It certainly is lightweight and appears very well made. Set up seems extremely fast. Some models can be pulled behind almost everything, including motorcycles.
At that time, it appeared that hey are not as well suited for longer-term travel like that discussed in the most recent issue of PUT. The aluminum floor and lack of furnace and heated mattresses would make it difficult to extending camping season into colder seasons. The lack of refrigerator, ceiling vent fan, lp tanks, stove and RVque hookup keep you cooking on a portible stove or campfire/coals, and offers little choice for cooking in extended inclement weather. Lack of a water tank means you tote the portable blue water jugs. The available AC unit slides out on a little shelf, as there is no hard roof for mounting a traditional RV air conditioning unit. The marine-type upolstery, molded plastic, and aluminum made the ambiance of the camper interior rather industrial and utilitarian. For these reasons, we chose a more traditional popup. The Quicksilver may be a great option for some.
I did see a slightly used 2006 Quicksilver 10.0 Toy Hauler on e-bay.....the seller had it going for the BIN price of $ 8,200.00.
This one had A/C, but not too much more than that.
I have the 8' model and I am very pleased with my selection. When I grew up in Ill. my parents had an Apache. I backpack, mtn. bike camp large tent (when I take my jeep trailer) or small tent (jeep only). I wanted something more like camping than an rv, light weight (jeep driver) and little maint., the Quicksilver suited my needs.
Large tent caming oor the camper, I do have some amenities, hot water and shower (Coleman Hot Water on Demand) Heater (Dyna Glo) Great coffee (Colemam Camp Coffee maker) and yes I have the blue water jugs but I have the magna cart to haul (among other things) and a battery powered pump for afaucet. I do do take more ice but I make icecream with an old hand crank.

Thanks to the ones that responded. Looks like there's not hardly any one out there with a Quicksilver pop up camper. It looks like a very good one. No wood to rot. And very light.
Recent trip som folks visited and wondered where I got mine recanvased they thought it was an old popup camper. Must be the retro look. Some campers next to me looked unhappy and started to take down the camp. One of them came to visit and asked if I had a generator. No don't need one I replied. Asked if the need one or some help, she replied that when the camp someone always seems to set up a run a noisy generator. They ended up staying and visited and checked out my campsite and they asked for info about the dealer. I have not seen to many around out here in Arizona, I have seen more Apaches, and a couple of Coleman Colorado's. I think most folks when they make the transition to a popup want a lot of amenities. Though I do but I can use while tent camping or using my popup. My next trip will either be a backpack trip or a mtn. bike camping trip.
