In light of the recent news from Lee (Firefyter-EMT) and Andrea (Acts 2:38 girl) I think it s time to resurrect this thread from the old board....
first child : Wait with them every day for the bus through second grade ~ regardless of how long it takes or how many other kids you have to bundle up and take with you.
second child : Wait with them every day for the bus through kindergarten ~ leave the other kids in the house.
third child : Give em a smooch at the door when they head out for the bus.
fourth child : " Wake me when you leave, honey"
Kellyfirst baby - bath before leaving the house EVERY time, clothes always clean and pressed, definatly matching outfit and shoes, preferable to match baby carrier
second baby - clean face/hands, throw some powder or lotion behind the ears, only a few stains on the outfit (plaid & stripes go together if the colors match, right?) w/ matching socks
third baby - clean diaper, third time hand-me-down shirt/bottoms, who can even tell what the pattern of the carrier is now - it s worn off! by now, socks are so over-rated, and who can find a pair of 6" shoes in that pile of old sneakers/sandles/boots? - throw a blanket over thier feet - you ll look like a good Mommy for covering that little darlin up, even if it is August. Little old Ladies @ Wal-Mart will all applaud you!
God, please help me to buy new clothes for this baby, wash it at least three times a week, and buy a new car seat with a pretty pattern! Most of all love her a ton!
No worries! It ll be all good! [:)]
KellyI remember that thread. With three of my own, I know that we have 3 times as many pictures of kid #1 as we do kid #2. It s a good thing that kid #3 is cute, he has had lots of pictures also.
KellyAlso Heard:
First Baby: Hold Baby and Bottle for EVERY Feeding
Second Baby: Occasionally PROP Bottle
Third Baby: THROW Bottle in Bed, They ll find it.
KellyNow I understand where all of my problems in life come from. I wans t first.[:D]
Kellyfirst baby : Be its only playmate ~ spend every waking hour with the baby.
second baby : divide your time evenly between the two.
third baby : get the " big kids" to play with the little kids so you can have a break.
fourth baby : " Anybody seen the baby?"
