when this guy showed up from nowhere - we just turned around and there he was!

He's spend the day with us, then leave at night and then be there first thing in the morning (for breakfast!) ~ I've never seen such a friendly dog!

Really don't know ~ some NFS employess that came around said they believed he belonged to someone who lived maybe 10 miles away. And that during the peak of the camping season he would make the rounds of the C/G sites, getting handouts (no doubt ate better than at home!). Since it was late in the season we were the only ones there at the time and he sort of hung out with us during the day. But come evening he'd take off and come back early the next morning.

Was wondering if the dog had been abandoned and if so would have tucked him away in the TV and headed for home. But the NFS boys said he was almost a summer fixture around there for the camping season and really belonged to someone. Maybe (hopefully), we'll see him next season.
Good looking Dog bet it was hard to leave him there.....I'm sure he gets lots of love and food at the CG......
oh my goodness.......what a great campsite.....and...a gorgeous dog!!!!! I'm afraid I'd have taken him/her home with me. ;> Just beautiful. How can people just let dogs run loose like that??
Wow! Nice lookin' dog, for sure.
