Title: Winter Issue running late
Post by: dno on Jan 12, 2010, 11:09 PM
For those wondering where the winter issue of PUT is, it's running late. I was in the process of moving and we are also having some content issues which have almost been resolved. It is finally almost done and should go to the printer soon.

I'm sorry for the delay, we are going to start right-away on the Spring issue hopefully we can be on schedule then.

The winter issue is finally finished, I'm just waiting for the last minute changes as we take our final pass over the magzine. It should be at the printers either today or tomorrow.

The winter issue ended up being five-weeks late... not good. We had a move and the holidays and trouble getting some content but it's finally printed and goes in the mail today so it's finally on it's way.

Hey all!

How do you know when your PUT subscription expires?  I just renewed yesterday for two years, but I have no clue how many issues I had left...

For the Autumn issue I made a mistake and didn't get the information on the mailing lable, but for the winter issue you should see a line on the lable that says how many issues remain on your subscription. I think Dave used to give a date, but since  we are quarterly, I found I like it better when I just keep track of the remaining issues.

Also over the weekend I incorporated the subscription database into the stores ordering system... sort of, now  it's really easy for me to look up a subscription so if you do have questions you can always call or send an email and I will be happy to look up your subscription information for you.

It came yesterday, and I saw how many issues I had left right above my name.  Turns out I had quite a few left, and really didn't need to renew right away, but I'm glad I did anyway!  I hope my 2 year renew helped out in some small way...  Thanks!

I think showing the total issues is more meaningful than a date, I hope that works better for people. There are actually a handful of people that have a few years worth left.

We appreciate all renewals :-()
