I have a 2007 arcadia pop up and the shower faucet is leaking bad from the supply side. How do I access the shower faucet to make repair?

the bunk end and tub end are one solid piece. and I saw nothing inside the shower. I removed the faucet handles but saw no way to gain access to where the water lines come in.
The water lines attach to the faucet between the end wall of of the camper box and the shower wall. There should be what looks like a narrow counter that just fits between the front wall of the camper and the shower wall, and it should just "pop" off since it isn't screwed on, revealing the backside of the faucet.
At least that's the setup on my Niagara.
