Just got back from a trip to the UK, London and Liverpool. Lots of highway miles, glad my son knows how to drive in that craziness. Too many roundabouts! We were there to watch our grandson race his motorcycle.
We saw lots of motorhomes, most were fairly small with the occasional bus sized one. Travel trailers were also mostly on the smaller size. I noticed no one uses sway bars, their hitch system was way different.
When we were at the racetrack there was every kind of MH/TT you'd imagine. Thousands of them! Attendance was in the 250,000+ range. Many of the race teams had huge set ups. Names of many I've never heard of.
The only 3 pop ups we saw were on the road. Two older unknown ones following each other, one looked to be a DIY project. Then we saw one with a canvas top and side ropes to secure it, maybe 60's vintage?
And not one hybrid.
That sounds like such a fun trip.

One of the BIG motorhomes we saw at the racetrack. I drove an Iveco panel truck back in the early 80's when we lived in the Great White North.
almost looks like it has a deck on top.
