Title: Camping Prices
Post by: 4Campers on Aug 14, 2023, 10:17 AM
WHAT? Logged in to reserve a camping spot at our county CG. Total came to $96.40 for 2 nights!
There is no way I'm paying that to camp.

Our county CGs have been increasing prices for a few years now, pricing them out of my pocketbook. At the same time, they have removed the splash park for the kids. Upkeep of the sites has been zip with many so washed away leveling is a challenge. Think it's time to write them another no so nice letter.

Kind of like everything else, the prices keep going up! That's one of the reasons I'm a Thousand Trails member, NO NIGHTLY FEE's, and my yearly due's are frozen at $585 per year! That works out to be around $1.65 per night...

Inflation is making everything outrageously expensive. But we're talking a piece of land that the county has bought and paid for with our tax dollars years ago. Cost per night has gone from $26 to $45 in just 3 years.
