I had to change my campsite today, to get out from underneath an Oak tree that was dropping hundreds of Acorns on my roof & slides. And since I had the slides in, and will be heading out of Maine a week from tomorrow, I used the opportunity to take the old tires off, I have 2 more new 14 ply ST tires ready to go on it.
Like the other side, the front axle had an old 8 ply tire on it, and the rear axle had a 2 year old 10 ply tire. I'm keeping both of the 2 year old 10 ply tires, but the 8 ply's are too old, and the one I took off today was totally shot. I'm surprised that tire survived the trip from Central Massachusetts to Maine. First I saw the crack between the treads, then I noticed the inner sidewalls.

Good upgrade before a long trip. The split in that one tire is scary.
Yearly trip south coming up soon? Hope the road is smooth as glass all the way for you.
Yeah, the first leg of the southward trek happens a week from today (next Tuesday). Only going as far as the Thousand Trails in Sturbridge Mass, it's about 2.5 hours away. Going to stay there about 2.5 weeks before moving on to Delaware.
