Does anyone know a weight limit on a raised Coleman roof? We have an AC unit on the roof now and are thinking of putting a satellite dish on the roof. Not mounted permanently, but using one of those bases that you fill with sand. The problem is that they weight about 60 pounds when filled. It seems like too much weight for the roof to me. What do you think?

camphostChecked the neghbors owners manual, and Tim hit it on the head, 150 pounds when raised. Besides like the ohers said you ll need an extension ladder to reach it to adjust it in.
Camp at an " RV park" and you ll see how the class A s do it. They all have ground tripods they can move around to get " out from behind that tree" and point in the direction they need depending on the site.
camphost150 pounds is the limit when it is raised, 300 when the roof is down.[:)]
