Here I am, afer the first full season of use, and I think that the bearings need to be done on the bantam.
I made my appointment, also having 2 maxairr vent covers put on and since they are keeping the truck too, I am having them install the Prodigy, I have the Ford Harness also. It looks like that they have wires spliced on the old brake controller, so I am a little hesitant to mess with it.
They are giving me worse case for my 4 wheels and the add ons as $300.oo. he said that is should be a lot less.
Does this sound right?

SheBantamHaving looked at prices around the country I can firmly say MAYBE it ll cost from $20 to $40 dollars a wheel plus seal and other parts that are bad. Around here it runs apx $45 for removing,inspecting.cleaning, regreasing, replacing seals, and reinstalling everything. In major metropolitan areas I ve seen the same price as high as $90.
If I remember right the book rate is 1/3 hour per wheel.
If the vents need holes cut and wired, and the TV is being wired from scratch, and the wheels repacked IMO around $220, but give your dealer credit, he at least gave you his worst estimate and didn t lowball you and then drop the bomb when you went to pick it up.
SheBantamI paid 25.00 per wheel at a very reputable dealer. From the sound of it, if the $300 includes the price of the Prodigy, it is a good price they gave you. Without the Prodigy, it still may be a good deal, because if there has been wire splicing in your TV s past, then forking over some extra cash to have them to blame may be worth it.

Local garage charges about the same.
SheBantamFor your area and if tha s " worse case" , sounds like your doing OK. In my area, RV work goes about $75-85 per hour.

Actually I bought the Prodigy last week on the way to the Pennsauken NJ RV show.
There is a Camping World at exit 10 of I295,the swedesboro exit. I joined the president s club and got the prodigy for $125 and the harness was about 11.00 I joined the presidents club because it was about break even when I threw in the max airr vents (not electric, this is for those nights that it is cool enough not to run the AC or those comfortable rainy days.) Of course, If I go to the rally this summer, I may still need to run the air[:@][:o] These Max airrs have the brackets that do not get drilled into the camper, but into the vent.
They were going to check and adjust the trailer brakes as part of the bearing thing, now they will have to help me set the prodigy.

SheBantamPaula you can adjust the Prodigy yourself. It is real easy. Once you have it set you can pretty much forget it. I test it every time we tow, but I haven t had to change the setting.
