Gamecock CamperI see it even has the grandfather of the vanity mate.[:D]
Gamecock CamperHehehehehehe... Cute! For some strange reason, it was deja vu all over again. That little fellow has too much in common with our first apartment.
Gamecock CamperThats really cute!! I like it[:D]
Gamecock CamperThat appears to be a Redwood, Coleman also made a Jamestown that is even smaller. It only had 1 double bed. 790-lb base axle wt.
Their smallest was a Colorado. The " roof" was only a tarp. The rest just unfolded like a regular tent. 515-1b base axle wt. (No electric, plumbing or cooking equipment)
Gamecock CamperI went back and looked at the vanity mate. Could that be the first mod?
Gamecock CamperDid you see the price it went for? Seems a little high for an older camper, but maybe the " cute" factor had something to do with it.
My Jayco has a very unusual floorplan with twin bunk at one end and queen bunk at the other and only one dinette bench. Folding wooden chairs come with it for seating on the other side of the table. We normally just put the table and chairs outside under the awning which opens up the room inside beautifully.
Take a look at the 8-w floorplan here: http://www.jayco.com/archives/2000/qwest_camping_trailer/qct8w.html
Gamecock CamperVery Cute!
In the early 70 s Skamper actually made one with no end bunks, just went straight up. Had a fold down couch and a fold down table slept 4. Haven t seen one for many years.
Gamecock CamperWow. That camper went for $1575, which is a pretty good price for a 1985 small pop-up camper. I guess that will help our re-sale values.
Gamecock CamperA couple in our popup club has a camper with only one bunkend that extends. Check out this picture: http://community.webshots.com/photo/55433395/55439721aSltSZ
Gamecock CamperTrlrboy, it looks like it would tip over.

No, my Dad had the first mod of that kind, well before 1985. We had a homemade vanity mate for our 70-something Coleman Brandywine.

Stopher... I ll keep my eye on it during our next campout... LOL
Gamecock CamperThe ebay one looks a lot like ours. Double bed one end, single on the other. The layout is the same. It runs about 700# s empty. I can pull it around by the tongue easily. It is cute, but NOT for a big family. Great for the three of us. I built an addaroom for more space. We use that area for cooking.
It s an 82 Palomino Shetland
