Title: Spots on Canvas?
Post by: Cottonwooder on Sep 28, 2003, 07:05 PM
The inside of the canvas over the king bed has developed small, dark spots around the curved area of the " shepherd s crook"  support . (Strange that it s not elsewhere on the canvas, or on the canvas over the smaller bed.) Anyone know what caused the spots and how to get rid of them? I m guessing perhaps a spritz with vinegar? Or do we need awning cleaner?

CottonwooderIf it is on the inside of the canvas, it is probably the sheppard s pole itself.  In my first pop-up, the sheppard s poles were made of unpainted aluminum.  The aluminum oxidizes (spelling???) and that is probably what rubbed off.  The PUT store may still carry the cleaner, or you can go to your local RV dealer if this is the problem.  Give us a product review once you figure out what worked and what didn t work to clean this up....
