Title: Advice for camping at a NASCAR race
Post by: JonesFamilyJayco on Sep 28, 2003, 07:05 PM
I would really appreciate any advice for camping at a NASCAR race.  I live near Lowe s Motor Speedway in Charlotte, NC & I would like to take my pop-up.  I am not ready to start in the infield, but I think the sites on the speedway property may be good.  I hope to take my boy (will be 5yrs by the May race), so I am hoping that it won t be too wild.  I am also interested about other tracks with good camping.  Thanks for your help & go Earnhardt Jr. !

JonesFamilyJaycoJonesfamily......I have never camped @ a Nascar event,  but have attended over 25 races over the past 13 years.  I can t speak for Lowes MS, but Dover DE only has " primitive"  set ups on track property. It is pretty much a grass parking lot.  I know there are camp grounds within 15 min drive from Dover Downs.  The track property have no hook ups. No big deal for one weekend though.  Just take a shower Fri. b4 you leave and rough it til. Sun night...   Have fun at the race, and keep cheering for that # 8!!!!!!    ( His dad is in the winners circle in the sky)[8D][8D][8D]
