With the snow storm bearing down hard on us this am, I got up to pee just as DH was getting into the shower. He says to me: " I don t get it... there s no school cancellations on the news! What kind of idiots are they that they don t cancel school with the biggest storm of the season just starting to hit?!?!"
My response with a little smirk: " Erik, there IS no school."
He says: " Yes, there IS! There are only 2 or 3 towns with school cancellations! I know what I saw!!" He s getting all annoyed with me for doubting him.
Me: " No, dear... you don t understand... THERE IS NO SCHOOL. There was never going to be school today. It s Presidents Day!"
Him, very sheepishly: " Oh.... sorry."

MommaMiaLOL! Last Monday am, my 17 yr old daughter came into my bedroom to say that she was leaving and I asked her where she was going so early. She said to school and I told her " But this is Saturday!" . She just cracked up and told me that I really needed to find me a job! Since I was laid off at the beginning of the year, I don t know what day it is! Hope you all fair this storm well....and glad all we have here is rain!
