That's funny. It all depends on what you get used to it seems.
When I lived in the Great White North we'd start sunbathing when it hit 50°

Watching the local weather on tv this morning, I thought it rather comical that the woman doing the forecast was telling everyone that winter weather will hit Florida on Thursday, and that we should all have our "Winter Coats" dug out and on the ready.

Really?

Forecast is for 47º in the morning, with high's topping out at 67º in the afternoon. I suppose that after having the 85º daily weather I've seen here in the last 3 weeks might be a little chilly for those that swelter down here all summer.

Me? I'll wear a hoody in the mornings (still wearing shorts).

Right! It's been named Camp Driveway since 2020 when it was the only camping we could do!
We have 30 AMP outlet and a fire pit. As long as momma doesn't ask for a sewer hookup things should be ok.  ;D

Even if it's in the driveway, it's still camping!  Right?

Yes Dave, if she could she'd live in it.
She tried a night this past weekend. Temps down to upper 30's. I had the furnace running but she told me to turn it off. She had the electric blanket. About midnight she came crawling into our bed in the house, along with some cold toes.
Can't blame her totally, she said there was a police helicopter circling the neighborhood.  :o

Glad you made it to your winter grounds with no issues.
I can't wait until spring so we can camp in our rig.

Update: I've arrived in Florida (actually got here on Sunday). The truck ran fine, despite the fact it has V10 I still got around 7.7 MPG towing the 5th wheel, had plenty of power and enough torque to get the job done with ease. That was my #1 concern that this would eat me up in Gasoline costs like the old Dodge did, but my worries were not a problem.

Currently at TT Three Flags (TT3F) for a few days, heading for Orlando (TTO) on Saturday for a 3 week stay, then back to TT3F for another 3 weeks. Nice & warm here, low to mid 80's during the day, was 64º this morning when I got up.

Darn, a 9.25 hour drive is about 5 hours past my limit. Can't believe that they cancelled ALL your reservations for one no show. Better gas mileage, and the price of a gallon is dropping. That's a bonus.
Donna has been in our trailer most of the weekend. She slept in it last night. She is one happy lady.

I arrived in Virginia today, had to put in a grueling 9.25 hour drive due to problems stemming back to my Accident in April, seems when I didn't show up at Delaware State Park, they cancelled all my reservations. So I made emergency reservations at TT Harbor View (Colonial Beach VA). Will move to TT Williamsburg VA tomorrow.

Truck ran well, and very surprised that the V10 got 7.7 mpg while towing the trailer, twice what my old Dodge did. This old trailer also held up very well too.
