I've got a couple people here in Maine that will gladly take it off my hands, hopefully soon!

Nice looking truck. So what do you do with the topper when towing the 5th wheel?

Well, I bought a truck Sunday morning. I really wanted a diesel dually, but settled on a gently used Ford F250 with the V10 gasser. It's a 2003 with only 105,000 miles on it. Had limited funds from the trailer insurance to buy a truck, and all the diesels I looked at in this price range were about the same model year, but they all had 375k to 400k miles on them.

A couple of positives with this truck, I personally know the seller, he only put about 5,000 miles per year on, bascially only used it to pull trailers including his old 5th wheel, which means he tossed in the PullRite auto sliding hitch (truck has 6.5 ft bed). It's strong, capable, relatively low mileage, wasn't driven in winter (no rust) & well kept.

Well, I sold the pup today. Nice family bought it. They camped last week in her sister's pop up and their kids loved it. They have a week vacation scheduled already. She took pictures and videos as I showed her brother-in-law how to set it up. She really appreciated that I showed them the tips I learned and the mods I did.

Yes, pop ups are becoming as rare as unicorns! My listing got over 2,000 hits but no buyer. Lowered the price and have a family coming tomorrow to look at it.

It seems the PU is not as sought after as they used to be. The campground I'm working at in Maine this summer, I've seen a grand total of 2 of them so far. I hope you find a buyer quickly, good luck!!

I've had to deal with helping two relatives sell their houses, move into senior living situations (different type for each) and clean out and sell houses. I'm now the executor of the estate of one of those relatives. It is A LOT of work.  Some days it's more mentally exhausting than it is physically hard, but it's still a lot of work.  And you usually don't have nearly enough time to do it right.  We ended up canceling multiple trips last summer when the workload was highest.

It does eventually slow down.  Good luck!  Keep a positive outlook.

Thanks Dave- My mom's house clean out was tough but nothing like MILs apartment. Of course I had lots of help with mom's, very little help with MILs. Two days' work and barely a dent. Still finding crap she moved here ten years ago and never touched. Plus, she is a collector who throws nothing away. Oh well.
Anyway, the pup is posted for sale. Between all the hospital trips, bad weather and moving MIL to nursing home we have not pulled it out of the garage yet. Buyer going to see it dirty.
