Wow, sure is quiet around here!!!

Well so far Florida has worked out pretty well, weathered Hurricane Nicole at Encore's Clerbrook Golf & RV Resort with no damages. Most of the parks around the Orlando area didn't get anything worse than a downed tree or two. However, about 12 parks in the Thousand Trails/Trails Collection/Encore system in the Ft Meyers area and inland central Florida were severely damaged and closed for repairs. This has put a strain on doing the Thousand Trails (TT) Dance, where I'm limited to 2 week stays and have to keep moving park to park. The problem is, with a dozen closed campgrounds, everyone is trying to squeeze into the other 20+ campgrounds that are left.

Meanwhile, I managed to get a part time job working for Encore's Lake Magic, but they won't give me a site, so I have to keep doing the TT Dance as well. They at least have told me that if I can't find a reservation, they have a couple of "Closed for Repair" sites I can use. Well, if they don't I'll have to find another state, and Arizona is a long way away!! It's going to be a long winter here!!

Good news about no damage.  Good luck with all the logistics on the rest!

Yea, too quiet. Almost as bad as the other place.

Good the hear you weathered the storm with no damage.
My brother had some minor damage to his cottage. Not sure where he is but I think he's on the gulf side of Florida.

Gulf side down by Ft. Meyers got slammed pretty hard, so anything down that way south of Tampa didn't fare well at all.

Pretty sure brother #1 is north of Tampa.
Brother #2 moved last year, he was around Ft Myers.
