I keep looking at these things, wondering if they are easy to use.  I camp 90% of the time with just the children.  I think I want them but, not really sure.  Are they really helpful?  Do they really work?

CAMPTHOR

Mahaffey-FamilyThe BAL leveler is very easy to use.  Usually I do it myself, while the DH is doing something else when we set up camp.  I would highly recommend getting one.

 Mahaffey-FamilyHere s the difference:

Using wood blocks or Lynx levelers...  Back up see that you need to level and pull forward.  Put blocks where you think you ll be level.  Back up again.  Nope, need a little more?  Pull forward, add some more, back up... no, no, no, you went too far.  Pull forward.  There... " it s level enough"

Bal leveler:  Back up, slide under the wheel, crank up until level.  That s it.

Mahaffey-FamilyOur BAL leveler just arrived last week. I think it will be a real asset to our camping experience. I know DH can get fairly bent out of shape, in a hurry, going back and forth over boards to level the camper out.

We re looking forward to using it![:D]

Mahaffey-FamilyI just got mine this week.  It seems easy enough to use.  I haven t used it with the trailer yet, but I did crank it up just to try it and it seemed very simple to use.

Mahaffey-FamilyEasy???? Hook that dude up to the drill, that you raise the roof with! DW watches the level, and up it comes! Takes, Oh, About 5 seconds! And you are level, NOT close to it, LEVEL.

If I lost mine today, I d buy another tomorrow. That s as good as it gets.

Mahaffey-FamilyGary said it all.  Life is so much simpler with the BAL and does away with the hassel of backing up, pulling forward, etc., etc.  I keep it right on top in the back of my F150 and it?s one of the first things to come out.  Even if I am on a perfectly level slab I still use it as a chock on one side.  To raise it I use my 24V drill and get it perfect every time in seconds.  What a life!  Wouldn?t leave home without it!

Don t think the discount code is still valid, but at least you can follow the links in the thread to a couple BAL retail sources.
