So, anyone else planning this far in advance?

We are trying to figure out where we will be going this year and can t make up our minds.  We are considering Bon Echo P.P., maybe Letchworth, maybe Pinery P.P....there are so many choices.

Anyone else thinking this far ahead?

fivegonefishingI have plans for after Labor Day but not that weekend yet.  When is Labour day in Canada?  In the states it is September first this year.

It s the same weekend up here.  The kids go back to school on the second of Sept and we have the week off leading up to that weekend so we want to make it a memorable one (as if the rest aren t eh![;)])

fivegonefishingGee whiz we are still trying to decide where to go for our 2nd week of vacation.... looks like arrowhead will be the winner.... just to decide a site and book it.
Need to decide where to book for the last weekend in May thinking Turkey Point for that one. Haven t even thought about any others, and you are looking at Sept.

luvourjaycoHey Sharon, Arrowhead was one of our favourite parks last year, check out my review [link=http://fivegonefishing.tripod.com/arrowhead.html]here[/link]

I would recommend the East River Campground, road 7 (sites 301 to 321).  Our site was ok but we could see the water spigot too much, most of the sites towards the loop were very roomy!  If we were going again, we ed probably try for site 314.  Roads one and two have a lot of bigger rigs and the further you get back the better.  Road 7 has a decent flush privy and you are still close enough to the compfort station.  PS, make sure you bring lots of extra extension cords, we had to use all of our 50 foot extension plus all of the 25!

We have booked 4 trips so far this season including the May get together at Bronte, McCrea PP for the long weekend in May, Murphy s Point June 14th and Sandbanks for the July long weekend.  We re planning to visit Nova Scotia for our holidays this year.  We want to get out as much as we can this year working arounb Brian s schedule of course.

When would you be heading to Arrowhead?  Maybe we could work something out around that time [:)]

fivegonefishingWe have tentative plans made through Christmas.  DH loves to plan ahead but we also plan to throw in some trips where one of us yells " Roadtrip"  and we just take off.  We keep enough food stuffs and other necessities always ready for just such a contingency.

fivegonefishingWe have most of the summer planned already. Memorial and Labor day already booked(big group get-together), 4 th of July with friends, and at least one trip with GLPUC. Depending on my work schedule, possibly every other weekend.[8D]
