Yellowstone intalled Propane based fuel cell generation as part of a test.  Got me thinking, for those long periods with out power! How about a small fuel cell that charges your battery ... Seem like it make sense, lower power output requirement, source of Propane, lightweight (reduced battery size)... etc

Come on, who wants to help me tackle this one, we could have it to market by June!

Joe GleasonThe problem being two phrases used in the article," cutting edge"  and " revolutionary" . Both mean unproven technology and BIG bucks.  I ll bet our kids will have something on that order, but unless you want to pay more for a " charger"  than the PU you ll have to wait a few years.
Years ago I got a look at what was involved in puriffying the hydrogen then used in fuel cells. It was housed in a rather large warehouse. Today they only need a semi truck to carry the equipment around and it breaks down any simple hydrocarbon funneling the hydrogen off, purifying it, and compressing it for use with a fuel cell or even the new generation of hydrogen burning vehicles.
