Does anyone know of a good set of pots and pans that are non-stick and stack together for camping/storage purposes?

 WelshieSandy,

Just this past week I saw the Coleman family cookware set at Target in the camping section.  It is a stockpot, frying pan, and saucepan that stack together.  The handles are removable and fit inside the the stacked set.  Has lids.  Teflon.

WelshieWe just use any pots and pans, not from a set. I put a piece of that spongy shelf liner stuff between each pan. You can pick up halfway decent pans at Big Lots .

 WelshieWelshie,

Click [link=http://www.campmor.com/webapp/commerce/command/ProductDisplay?prrfnbr=13648&prmenbr=226]HERE[/link] for a look at a similar set we bought many years ago. On the right side is the Alpine folding utensils which we also keep inside the nested pots. The set we bought, at Campmor, was brown in color and was replaced by this set. They come with a stretch type bag that holds everything. We put them inside our 7-1/2 quart black pot, along with the red & white table cloth, and sit that pot on top of a Coleman 12"  no-stick fry pan. They all clean up very easily, have complete internal non-stick surfaces & have a coating of something on the sides that allows them to be cleaned really easily. We ve used them on the dual-fuel and propane stoves as well as over campfires with no problem at all. While steeper in price to the aluminum or stainless steel ones, their easy cleanup makes Peggy happy.

WelshieT-Fal Ingenio!  My folks gave me theirs they had bought for their motor home but then never used.

They stack inside each other, have detachable handles, metal lids, and plastic lids for food storage.

I love them - I use them in the house now, and have my older stuff in the PU for weekend trips.  I ll probably switch it up for longer trips and take the T-Fal with me.

 You can see them here:

WelshieWe have the " Evolution"  cookware, I believe it is now called  " Backpacker s Pantry" .  Non-stick inside and out, stacks well, we keep it in a bag.  It has one handle for the whole set, a gripper type.  Actually, we have a couple of sets, we bought it when it first came out, before they redesigned the lid - it now has concentric indented rings to use the lids on 2 sizes of pots, before you flipped it, so there was a handle on each side; and then found a good deal on the newer style. (We also have the 10"  frypan in the Outback Oven set-up.) We have some in the backpacking equipment and the rest in the car/PU camping stuff.  We have the set of 3 pots, which has 2 lids, plus another larger pot, bought separately, for car/PU use.  The few times we wanted to use the pots which shared a lid, we just used aluminum foil for one, or the larger lid, depending on which we needed.
It is not Teflon, I don t remember if it is T-fal, the pots are made in Europe, at least  the ones we have.  We use lexan spoons, and have had no problem with peeling, etc. We do keep either a paper napkin or a couple of extra small viscose dishcloths in between stacked pots, the bottom of the pot has concentric machined circles, to keep it from sliding, esp. on backpacking stoves. The only pot that has any marks, which have not interfered with the non-stick, is one the backpacking stove was carried in unprotected. One pot fared well when I dumped powdered milk in and forgot to stir before it made a really heavy semi-burnt skin, so they are sturdy.  REI has carried them, we ve seen them on sale at the reioutlet.com and sierratradingpost.com sites on occasion.

Welshiei put paper towels between my pots to make sure they don t rub, then i use the paper for cleaning floor spills, or fire starters.

WelshieThough most of the pots-n-pans in the camper are 45 year old Revere Ware (Stainless steel w/copper bottoms) I do have a couple of non-stick fry pans that I carry around. I bought a set of cotton towels at Family Dollar store (six of them for $3) and just place one of these between the pans, keeps them from getting scratched. I also place one of those towels between the crock pot and it s lid...

WelshieI really liked the idea of nesting posts with removable handles for storage convenience.  When I inquired at the T-fal Ingenio link mentioned in Whippetwrun s post above, I learned that the 15 piece set ($100) is no longer available.  The current product is a 20 piece set ($120).  I decided that $100+ was too much to spend and decided to look elsewhere.

I came across a 14 piece T-fal Ingenio set on sale for $40 at a place in PA called Boscovs (also free shipping), and in the tradition established by Suezyque, am posting this bargain here for anyone interested.

WelshieI have the Ingenio set (one of last year s finds thanks to Suezyque) and I love the pans!  I m still tenting, so the less space anything takes up the better.  Should be in a pu next summer; and those pans will definitely " move up" , too.  We had a mix of yard sale pans and cast-offs prior to buying these, and since nothing stacked real well, it took up way more room in a rubbermaid than I wanted to spare.
