RE: URGENT! Is this a good price?

[] We re considering joining the  POPUP world"  and purchasing the following:
 
 1999 Starcraft Spacestar
 16,000 btu heater
 slide-out
 awning, fridge, dual propane tanks, toilet/shower combo, hot water heater,
 outside shower, curtains, etc.....
 
 We already checked " NADA" , but we want to hear what YOU think!
 
 The dealer started at $6,500, but we only wanted to spend $5,500.  Now they re down to $6,000... what would YOU pay?  Thanks for any help you can give us!

We have the 2000 Starcraft Spacestar and we love it.  
 As far as how much to spend, I think I personally would try to get them to come down another $500 (or have them throw in an add-a-room or other " freebies"  but honestly I am clueless as to the value of used pop-ups - I just like to fight the price down to the bitter end [].  And, as always, it depends on the condition of the PU.

Get them to throw in an Add A Room!  Are you trying to finance with them?  If you have your own financing then offer them $5500 cash.  They will probably take it.
