RE: Out Door Movies like fort Wilderness!

 Got the idea last year at fort Wilderness ? watching old classics under the stars!
 
 Found a way to do it and Travel light?
 Took my Projector for TradeShows that has video in ?
 A Discounted white sheet ?
 A FM headset transmitter (from radio shack)
   Transmits headphone out to local 88.1 or 88.7 channel
 Radio box?
 
 The projector is the size a large laptop (ok maybe two)?
 The radio we had anyway ?
 The DVD player is small not much bigger then a walk man?
 
 And walla ? you?ve got instant out door movie theator!
 
 I don?t like bringing TV for the kids to watch in the camper ? but there is something nice about watching old classics out under the stars?
 
 Price? Your looking at $1-2K  for the above combo ? 1,600 for the projector ? (woulnd?t have bought one for this purpose)? $30 for fm transmitter ? $350 for DVD player and xxx for your video?
 
 Projector will light up a 20 foot screen NP
 
 Just a crazy idea for someone to think about if you happen to have parts laying around the office!
 
 Tried last night @ the campground with great sucess - fun for all the kids who " stopped on by" ...

i watch a classic movies outside everytime i go camping, its called nature and the galaxy!  great show,
 
 nice idea!!! havem t watched movies under the stars since i was a kid in the drive -in!   too costly for me and more stuff to pack , carry, more stuff to worry about getting stolen. i rather get a big screen T.V. for home, at lease there I don t have to pack it or carry it all i have to do is dust it []

We go to the drive in every summer.  There are several in our area.
