Americans are getting stronger. Twenty years ago, it
took two people to carry ten dollars  worth of groceries.
Today, a five-year-old can do it

campingcopMeanwhile, the government is telling us there is no inflation.

Anyone who trusts their government should pay attention to what the inflation reports are vs what you really pay for things.

campingcopI highly suggest gardening!  Last year I planted cucumbers and corn.  The corn was a dud ( made really nice Fall decorations though!) but I had cucumbers by the dozens.  I could ve fed the neighborhood!  [:D]

campingcopI enjoy canning our food.  Every year we can green beans (beats anything you buy frozen or canned in the store), vegetable soup (the only kind my girls will eat and it s good for them[;)]), and sometimes field peas and sweet potatoes.

I agree about the gardening, but don t like to do it.  So I support my local farmers[:D]  But not sure exactly how much money we save, but can t beat the taste or less preservatives.
