RE: Spring set up

Well, the Santa Fe is set up in the driveway.  The water system has been flushed and stuff packed inside for another season.
 
 I left a memory thermometer inside over the winter and it shows 19§ as the low inside during the winter.
 
 Obviously i failed in my winterizing as the ciy water connection is now leaking.  Looking inside the " O"  ring is distorted and will no longer seal.  Either ice damaged it, or when I opened it during the winterization process the O ring got pinched and stayed that way all winter.
 
 Everything else appears fine.  As long as the weather holds we will be out this weekend.

There s still about 20 inches of snow in front of the trailer shed. But the weather has been warmer and I m hoping to get it out for brake and wheel bearing service in about three weeks.

Tim - Where will you be going?  
 We are going to the CG this weekend to move our PU from it s storage place to out Host Site.  We are not going to flush the water system yet.  We are still worried about cold weather.  Thought we would just hook up the sink drain and use those 2 gallon water containers with spigots.  Mostly need to get it moved and set-up.  Remove mothballs, and other winterizing items.  Hope you have a great weekend.

Going to Little Bennett regional Park in Montgomery County.  As you know most state campgrounds don t open until 4/4.
 
 I see Gambrills opening listed as possibley delayed due to construction.  You wouldn t happen to know if this is to add additional electric spaces, would you???

Sorry to hear about your water hook-up misfortune. Cheryl and I are planning on " opening up"  this weekend, weather permitting. I m thinking happy thoughts.

Sorry Tim - No additional electric sites, but they are re-doing the bath house.  There is still a good chance that they will open on 4/4.  Keep checking with me if you want and I will check for you.  mpeddicord@dnr.state.md.us
 
 We are so excited that we get to set up this week[].  We d invite you but even when the park is closed there are no pets and the bath house is still winterized.  We are staying in a motel this weekend.
