my4cutiesMom and Dad s house. They live 4 miles from us.

my4cutiesOurs is stored in the 2-car garage.  Our Homeowner s association basically does not want to see it or know that it exists, so it is either the garage or pay for a storage space.  RV storage is at a premium in our area and it is not cheap.

DW s convertable is parked in there next to the trailer.  It s a tight fit, but not so bad really.  My car (The TV - Chevy Astro Van) is parked outside of the garage. We builty a custom platform type shelving area above the trailer (hangs from the ceiling by chains) which gives us some storage that we lost when we put the trailer in there.  I also store all of the food coolers, the camping grill, fire pit, bike rack, grey water tank, and other camping gear on top of the camper when it is in the Garage.

I like it in there as opposed to a storage unit because I can just go out to the garage and tinker whenever I want.  I can crank the roof up a couple of inches and have access to the camper s fridge, making it easy for DW to load the fridge (or even use it as an extra cooler when entertaining at the house).

We re like mrflinders, except we have our popup and our minivan side-by-side in a two-car garage, with plastic shelving too. I have to fold in the mirrors on the minivan and slide across to/from the passenger seat to get in and out of the car. It s a tight squeeze but we can get a full-size baby stroller through the aisle between the popup and minivan. It s worth it because we have a big locust tree in our front yard with branches that hang over the driveway. The birds (and even owls!) think it s target practice when our vehicles are in the driveway. No thanks. [;)]

my4cutiesWe keep ours in the middle of our 3 car garage.  When we purchased the popup, one of the requirements was that it had to fit in the garage.  That is one of the reasons we went with the 10  box.  It stays clean, warm and safe plus it is easy to get ready when we go camping.

my4cutiesIn the summer 90% of the time it is in the driveway. The rest of the time we store it with a feloow who does PDI and rental for the local Coleman dealer. He runs his business out of a farm. The storage yards are locked, well hidden from the rode, and there is someone on the there all the time. He charges $200(CDN) for the year

Hey Barb & Jeff would that be the Holiday World guy?

I m lucky enough to have room next to the house to put a 10  gate & made a short car port for the camper.

my4cutiesWe just had a roof and poles built for us, it must have a name but I do not know what it is. It holds the PU and truck as well as most of the small car.  It cost about $900 including permits and their setting it up. We will measure the height of the PU set up to see if it will fit underneath.

MesaMadnessMesamadness, lol -that is our number one requirement when we look for a new home (praying for this fall!) - backyard access for our dear Pop-up!
Hey, gotta have your priorities straight!  [;)]
In the meantime we keep ours in storage ($30/mo - yikes!), and sometimes - like right now - it gets to sit in the driveway where we can stare at it and dream.

3&acatWe put another driveway to the side of the house behind a gate to park my father s class A motorhome when he would visit for the winter. He has since sold the motorhome to my brother and we now use the pad for our PU. It also has water and electric hookups. Works out great for cleaning and preparing the PU for the camping trips.

my4cutiesWe store ours in the back yard. We have a parking area that you can put 5 or 6 cars in. And all the spaces are full. Linda and DD have to park their cars on the street in front  of the house. Maybe  i should get rid of some off the junk i got out there. 4 out of 5 of the  vans run.

my4cutiesI store mine outside at a storage facility about 3 miles from my condo -- @ $20/month.  This is the first winter I have had it and have worried about it all winter -- even went to see it a few times!!!  I am itching to get it dewinterized!

Yes,  that s the holiday World Guy....Bruce. Do you use him?

3&acatI don t remember answering, so here goes...

We are lucky that the Santa Fe fits in the garage.  That s why we went with a 10 foot box.

We are now looking at sheds for the back yard, so if I can move stuff out of the garage, maybe we can move up to a 12 foot box[;)]... can you say slide out????
