I have the new Coleman roof with the rails built into it, but I have no idea what is required to have a complete bike rack.  I assume there is some sort of " clip"  that fits inside the rail, which mounts a " tower"  of some sort.  This then supports a bar that runs across the roof.  Various accessories will then attach to a pair of cross bars.

What do I HAVE to buy from the dealer, and what can I buy elsewhere?  Are there any vendors other than Yakima that make parts for it?  Anything online I can look at?

 Thanks in advance!

HruskaSInce the roof won t get a " puncture with the new rails there s nothing you have to buy to keep warranty questions from coming up from the dealer.
Here s one site to start with http://www.rackwarehouse.com/index.html
Don t forget EBay lot s of racks for sale there both name brands like Yakima, Thule, and plenty of clones.

HruskaYou will need the cross bars and what ever type tower will fit in the track.  Yakima or Coleman should be able to tell you what will fit in the track.  I have the old roof and you could only get the roof mounts form Coleman.  The bike racks themselves you can get at any bike shop.  I bought most of mine on E-Bay and have had them on 2 vans and the PU.  I did get 2 used Yakima trays this year.  I have used Thule racks in the past and had to have an adapter for them to fit on the round Yakima cross bars.

I guess that s my main question, then.....does anyone know (or have links to) what will fit the track?

 Thanks!

HruskaYou might have to contact Coleman or Yakima about what will fit in the track.  With the roof and track system being new there isn t as much information out there about them.

I struggled with this one for a while. After many phone calls to Yakima dealers and then to Yakima itself (you won t find a phone number on their website) I discovered that the only towers that will fit in the Coleman roof tracks is the one that you have to buy from Coleman. At $85? it s not a bad deal but you can t get any locking cored to fit the towers themselves.

I then bought Yakima bike racks to fit the crossbars. I bought Raptore for the kids bikes and Ankle biters for the two adult bikes.

So.....towers and crossbars from the dealer and racks from your best price source.

 Hope this helps
