Has anyone stayed here or heard anything about it?

BTW, will there ever be access to the old postings or should we just start recreating them?

LoveOurBaysideWe stayed there last summer, it s nothing special really, but not awfull by any means either.   Its a good location if you need access to the turnpike to get to the Philly or Harrisburg area s. The sites are not real shaded that we noticed, most are out in the open with maybe a couple of small tree s dividing each site. The lower section is more or less an open field where they just line up campers, usually TT s and the fivers though. It seemed that the general rule was to put weekenders or pop ups up on the hill and those sites were not much different from the lower ones other than that they were on a hill. A lot of seasonals in this place, and they get the spots in the woods, I think partly to keep then concealed as some of them were in pretty rough shape.  The traffic noise from the turnpike itself can be heard inside the campground, it s not over powering but you can hear it clearly at night.  They were doing a lot of construction projects when we were there, adding a building and also doing some site work as a part of the lower area was closed. I m sure all that  is done by now. The bath house could have used some work, it wasn t dirty by any means, in fact they were quite clean while we were there, and this was the weekend before the 4th of July so that says a lot! They just needed some upgrades and some work on some broken fixtures and make them a little more appealing is all. They were nothing special, but clean, so thats something.  Over all, this is a good campground, the pool and grounds were clean and the store was adequetly stocked, we would go back.

 LoveOurBaysideKaren,

Thanks for the review.  I appreciate it.

 Tracy,

When I try to access the old board, through your link and the one above, it says I need to log in, but when I try to log in it says I have an invalid ID or password.

LoveOurBaysideI agree with most of what honeybee said. The CG could use some sprucing up, because it is a little run down, but it s doable. The open field area is right as you pull in, so that s where a lot of the larger units are. The dirt roads around the wooded sites aren t terribly big, so it limits what can get back their. That s good for the people with PU s. The store is a little on the small side too.

There s a Renaissance Festival not too far from their. It s setup in this little replica town. They put on a good show, with all kinds of people in period clothes. It s a lot of fun, actually. Don t know if it s open this time of year though.
