ZooeyWhat State are you from? We were out camping this week-end and it was bad news. Went through 1.5 tanks of gas trying to keep warm. If the wind had not been so bad I may have only used one tank.

Zooey

 whitestar505We are from Pittsburgh, PA.

Last year, we used an electric heater and it kept it much warmer than the gas heater.  Although, I think the coldest weather we camped in was around 40 degrees...

whitestar505We take a ceramic heater with us. Will be pulling it out of the Bantam and may be taking the oiled filled jobbie too.

Will be in Elmer NJ this weekend with the Jayco, a 32 cup coffee maker insead of a water heater and electric heaters instead of a gas furnace.  Will try to hook up to water and bought one of those garden hose to sewer things for the sewer connection. Will grab the coffee maker, toaster and maybe the micro wave as well as plenty of comforters and blankets.

 whitestar505whitestar505,

Pick up a ceramic heater to help with the warmth - we were doing that last fall instead of propane and it was nice and toasty.

I d take advantage of going! Of course, with our too full schedule[:@], any chance to camp would be great.   Besides you made it through last weekend, so why not this weekend too! Have fun!

8 more days to our first trip out this year to Newport News with MAPCE!

Jeffrey

 whitestar505Don t do it!

If I can t go, then nobody should be able to go.[:@]
