I drained the antifreeze today and purged the system with fresh water.  I filled the tank with water and found that the water pump does not work.  I checked voltage at the pump switch and there is no juice..... nor at the 12V power outlet.  I have the wiring schematics and checked all fuses (converter, pump, outlet) and they are all good.  This leads me to believe there is a wiring problem.  If you follow the Bayside wiring schematic and follow the 12V+ wire (black) I found that this wire ends on the schematic with a reference to " see water tank wiring schematic" .  Hmmmmm....... I don t have that schematic.  The odd thing is that there are other loads on this particular circuit (overhead lights, etc) and they all work fine.  I suspect that the hot lead going to the pump switch is broken somewhere, but without a schematic I don t know where to go chase it down.  I did remove the pump switch/battery-water meter and could see that the wire disappears into the wall up by the water tank fill up port.......  which means I probably have to pull a body panel out to get at it.  I will add that the grommet going through the wood paneling is pulled away and the wire bundle has dug into the wood.  I just can t get access to that with pulling a body panel...... and that sounds like a nightmare to me.

At any rate, if anyone happens to have the portion of the wiring schematic that I need (water tank wiring), I would appreciate if maybe you could scan it and e-mail it to me.

 Thanks!

TheWallRocksDo you have a flat (15amp?) fuse in line of your pump? I did. [;)]

TheWallRocks

TheWallRocksThere is a 7.5 amp at the pump, and it is good.

TheWallRocksWhen you said the lights and eveything else worked, was the trailer plugged in?

Also the power port didn t work?

TheWallRocks

TheWallRocksTrailer was not plugged in.....only 110.  The more and more I think about it, since the power port and pump don t have any voltage going to them and the fuses are good, my best guess is the area where the wires go through the wall with the damaged grommet.  Just odd that both of them don t work, and they are in the same location.

I was just thinking, if your plugged into 110 the converter would power lights, and your problem may be with the galley kill switch or the on/off for the pump. I would start with these. Test light or voltmeter? I had some weird stuff happen with the on/off and then replaced it. You could pull the spade connectors off the back of the switch, hold them together and see if it runs.

TheWallRocksGary.... first thing I did was check the voltage at the switch.... and it was zero.  Same issue with the power port.  Everything else on that same circuit works fine, so it has to be a broken branch wire.  To the dealer it is going tonight.

Camped this past weekend and it was beautiful here in Michigan!

 Thanks for the input.
