 Does anyone have one?

We just saw one last night for the first time and thought it would be nice to have for on the back of the truck for when we go shopping and going from store to store.  I would be a secure place to put packages.

 Anything else out there?

angelsmom10I have never seen them, but they look good.  Of course I would want the one that swings away and has the brake lights in it.

angelsmom10They look good.  Kind of like having a tool lock box only off the bumper instead of behind the cab.  The only thing I d be concerned about would be parking - both parallel and parking lot (you d probably need 2 spaces to pull through in order to park).

Have you considered a tonneau cover at all? Some are locking.  And they would give your more storage space.  I found this one, it locks, looks simple to use and easy to remove if you need the full bed. It does cost about $150 more than the stowaway 2 swingaway though.

We have a cap on our Dakota Quadcab, it locks - but I am sure if someone really wanted to break into it they could.  No one has though in three years, despite it being loaded with packages during holidays and vacations.  It s great with the dogs too.

angelsmom10We saw it on the back of a small SUV on the way home from work and it really looked nice -- we were just talking about having it when we went shopping as it would be secure.

We have a tonneau for the truck, but DH won t put anything in the back if we go shopping (and I really don t blame him).

We just were talking about how nice it would be, but we aren t sure about the expense as we have other vehicles to use.
