RE: Arrival date just changed for our son

I hate to vent but, we just found out that our son isn t coming home on July 11th, he is delayed until September 2003 now. His baby is due in August 2003. I really wished that he would have been there. His Company arrived in Kuwait on January
2nd 2003. He is still working in Iraq. He can t tell us what he is doing or why his date changed. Please keep praying for their safe return.

Mahaffey-FamilyHere, too. A friend of mine is currently in Kuwait (with the Reserves). Their mission has been changed, of course, and they were originally supposed to come home in late July or August. It s been pushed back to possibly December. On the up side, his wife is stationed there, too, so at least they get to see each other. I continue to pray for the safe return of all our military.

Mahaffey-FamilyOur prayers are with your son and his family. We all know they are doing a great job over there. This is something the newborn will be proud of someday.

In the meantime is there anything we can do? Letters of encouragement or the care packages that were limited before (any changes).
