I got kind of a bonus yesterday, the new boss at work was going through the " junk"  left behind by the old boss, and one of the items he wanted to get rid of was a " Tiny Titan"  2.5 electric water heater. Seems the new boss didn t think we needed that blue box to hold open the mens room door, he put down a small wooden wedge and asked no one in particular if they wanted a little blue water heater? I jumped right in and volunteered to take it off his hands![]
 
 I went to Lowes today, and found all the unions, fittings, and parts & pieces that I ll need to get the first stage of the product working, from the water supply to the heater, and back out again. Tomorrow I ll sweat the copper fittings to the brass hose connectors, and basically complete the connection rigging. Phase 2 will be to install an inlet and modify the swing level to accomodate hot & cold taps (and get rid of the useless pump action cold tap that is there now)....
 
 Oddly enough, it ll be my last trip in the PU in 2 weeks, but for the long Memorial Day Weekend, I ll have 5 days and 4 nights that I won t have to heat water over the stove to wash dishes with!!!! End of the month I ll have that Hybrid with the DSI Electronic Ignition water heater.... []
 
 Guess this is one more selling item I can toss into the deal on the old PU!!![8D]

One of my favorite things about our pop-up (as compared to when we tent camped) is that it allows me to do the dishes in a civilized manner with running hot water in a standard sink! []
