We went camping to northern AZ for 5 days. It was a fun time despite the the bugs and heat. It got to be 93 during the day and 50 s in the night and we were in the mountains! A huge train sound like wind came up on us so fast we didn t have time to react. We were inside and heard the wind saw the awning go up over the roof of the PU, so we ran out the door and the awning came down upon us ripping when it hit the corner of the door. No other damage done.

What can we use to patch the awning? Has anyone done any patch work on these things? Or do we have to buy a new one.  It made my DH and I both sick.

If it is a small tear you could use some goop on it.

maromeoWhite duct tape make a good, quick emergency repair that will work until you get some vinyl repair materials.
