I doubt that most families would stay in one piece after something like this, so the tragedy may not be over yet.

I pray that they can get past blaming each other and/or themselves and be able to hang on.

 I have been told:
 * It takes two years to get over the death of a parent.
 * It takes five years to get over the death of a spouse.
 * It takes more than a lifetime to get over the death of a child.

Turn KeyAfter getting back from a WONDERFUL camping weekend with my five year old and my 5 1/2 month old, I can not even imagine something like this.  My infant remains in the car until the camper is set and my five year old either stays in the car or sits at the picnic table on the side of the site away from the camper.

And you are right cooncreekers, I don t think I would EVER " get over"  something like that.

We do the same.  I never thought about something like this.  But, than I can t imagine someone leaving a baby 4 months old unattended like this.  never the less behind a camper.  Yes, I feel sorry for the family and the poor uncle that has to deal with this the rest of his life.  Lets pray for this family that they are strong enough to get through this rough time.

But, the good Lord now has a very special little angel in heaven with him.

Lets all help each other while camping, we can watch out for the children.  I know we do this but looks like we need to be even more cautious.
