Friday and Saturday nights at Turkey Swamp county park in central NJ (off I-195).  I doubt anyone from this board will be there but if you are say hello.

I doubt the PUT sticker will have arrived by then... we re the ones with the blue wrangler.

Thanks again for all your help.

Georgehave a great time, dont forget your rain coat I am just sick of all this rain!!!!

George

GeorgeThanks... yea I got your post Red Neff.

With all the rain, Turkey Swamp really lived up to it s name.  Fortunately, with skeptical looks from DW the other night, I purchased a maroon duffle bag at Target and loaded it up with Travel Scrabble, Uno, Cards, Dominos.  We also spent a very wet afternoon at Allaire State Park down the road (didn t stay there because NJ state parks don t allow dogs).  If you ve never been to Allaire Historical village, and have any history bent, go... it s one of NJ s best kept secrets.

Because the Taos is so... well, cozy we flew the standard blue tarp over the picnic table provided at the CG and never set up the dinette.  Made a big difference in moving about the PU.  Because of the constant threat of thunderstorms, we never set up the awning.

Had just enough time this morning (Sunday) to dry it out and drop it off at the dealership to have the bike rack installed while we re at Camp Jeep.

 Thanks again to everyone!

 GeorgeHello all!!

Hey George - we had a 2001 Taos and loved every minute of it!  Check out some of our adventures on my webshots page - just click the link under my profile!  We agree on the " cozy-ness"  of the Taos and left the dinette table out.  It just makes it more livable.  We even installed a stereo in ours.  We just traded it in on a 2003 Coleman Carmel.  We had our maiden voyage in the Carmel June 13-15th.  I hope you love your new Taos as much as we loved ours.  I miss it.  [:(]
