I have a RoadTrip Coleman grill and use the small 1lb. bottles.  When I had my old PU, I would unhook the regulator from the 20lb bottle on the PU and attach an  extension hose that would allow me to use this source.  Since I purchased my new PU, it has a quick disconnect for an outside stove.  Since the RoadTrip has different
griddles, I prefer to cook on this rather than the stove that came with the PU.  My question is, has anyone purchased a hose with a quick disconnect fitting on one end and a fitting that would go into the RoadTrip regulator(the regulator accepts the 1lb bottle threads)?  I have not been able to find such a hose.

Joe BuskirkJoe, unfortunatly your Jayco, according to their website has a carry out stove. This means it s " low pressure" . Any gas appliance (propane or natural) designed for use in an inhabited enclosed space can not exceed 1psi. Your road trip needs " high pressure"  or around 11 psi.
So your back to what you did previously or you can purchase a tee fitting and mount it between the tank and the regulator. Check in the Yellow pages under propane suppliers. They ll have people that can get you the exact fittings you ll eed.

Joe BuskirkJoe, I would dig out the yellow pages in your area, and do some calling. See if a " Propane Company"  in your area makes hoses, then take the male part, an old hose or your stove, to them they can probably match the fitting, and put the " bottle fitting"  on the other end. Plus they could make it as long as you want it.

 MtnCamperJoe,

Hoses, you might try Coleman web page, or LL Bean. They are around 8-12$.

Joe BuskirkWally Mart has them too[:D] You can also use the Budy Heater extension hoses, some Lowe s stores may have a few left. They use the internal threads on the LP tanks not the big outside threads, left handed too.[&:]

Joe BuskirkI was planning on doing the same thing, but use my Coleman high pressure stove.  I wanted to use the quick connect stove hose that connects to the stove outside.  I called the dealer and they said that it could be done.  But other members here said that it couldn t.  I contacted Jayo customer service and asked the question.  They said, that all propane lines from the camper are low pressure hoses and unable to use high pressure stoves.  You will have to use a " T"  and a hose directly from the propane tank and bypass the regulator.  You can get both of these at Wally World.  Good luck.[8D][8D][8D]
