aw738i have that one and its nice...although 2 and half bags were pretty much melted after 4 days and 3 nights, i still didn t have to get new ice.

 oh yeah...welcome back.

aw738I bought one on Tuesday and went camping in Gettysburg on Wednesday.  When we returned today (Sunday 6-29) we still had ice left.  I m no longer a fan of anything Coleman makes but I must admit I was impressed!  I just hope the lid does not sag.  I know Doc.....Fleetwood makes my camper not Coleman :)

aw738We just picked one up today also. Got tired of buying ice every day. Now that I am in the southeast it is very important to keep things cold.

aw738We use ours all the time as the fridge doesnot seem to stay at 40 degrees after it is full. so I keep the drinks in the fridge and the perishables in the cooler, everything always stays nice and frozen/cold in there.......

aw738I sent an email to Coleman regarding the Xtreme Cooler that I bought a Walmart in June, mine won t keep ice even at moderate temps for a whole day.  I asked whether it was possible that I had a defective cooler.  They invited me to ship it to them, (at my cost) so they could look at it and if bad send me a replacement.   It would probably end up costing almost as much as the $19.95 to send it.   Well, maybe not, but .....

aw738I would just take it back to walmart and get a refund, if you donot have the recipt they will give you a gift card for the store....

aw738We fill 3 or 4, 1/2-gallon milk jugs with water and freeze them.  In the extreme cooler they seem to last for several days, and there is no water from melted ice.

Wow that is really bad.  I hope you can get a new cooler.  Is the stuff in the cooler cold when you add the ice?

aw738We bought the Coleman Xtreme cooler in the spring and have had no problems with it. On our weekend trips I have always had ice left. On our week long trips, I only had to add ice on day five of the trip.  When using the cooler, have you followed the directions posted on the Coleman web site.
