Turn KeyOuch! Sorry to hear. Fear not- fall will be coming in no time and with it, cooler weather![:)]

Turn KeyIt s funny how different sections of the country view the seasons.  Here is Texas complaining about the summer and looking forward to the fall.

Up in New York, people are relishing the summer, as they will some of the fall, but as each leaf falls, another snowflake is forming awaiting the coming of winter.

Turn KeyAlthough I m a displaced Yankee originally from NJ and now living in the Dallas area, I don t mind the heat.  Turn on the A/C in the camper and let it run all day while PopUpGizmos bunkend covers are reflecting the heat and the Coleman Xtreme cooler is keeping the margarita mix cold.

I m taking a 3 days next weekend and going up to Lake Murray SP in Oklahoma to soak up the sun and play golf.  Clear water lake and really nice camping, not to mention the golf course right at the park.  Then in August (should be about 105 by then) we re going down to Lake Navarro Mills Corps of Engineers park to defy the hot weather and pray to the sun gods.

As long as I m camped someplace with shade and a beach nearby I m a happy boy.  I even got a mountain bike so I can get more sweaty than hiking around with the dog.  Now I ve got to teach her to pedal too......

 Turn KeyTrlrboy,

The natives down here in the south stay inside in the A/C during the summer or go to the North Carolina or Georgia mtns. to camp.  The only people out relishing the sun are the northerners.  I say let them get hot and sweaty.  I ll wait for fall!

 Turn KeyTrlrboy,
Really hope you enjoy your trip.  I ll stay in the AC until october, thankyou very much[:D][:D][:D]!

Turn KeyHey I m with Trlrboy we re also from Jersey and I ll take the heat over the cold anytime especially with our bunkend covers, AC and a nice cold drink along with a nice beach to take a dip. Yup my snow shoveling days are over, my blood has thinned out, just give me some Florida sunshine[8D] and I ll just chill out.
 Happy Camping

Miss-Teri

Turn Key103 degrees outside my house at this moment.  *sigh*

Edit - Capped out the day at 106.4.  Wish we could run around in circles and mix the hot air here with the cold air others are wishing away!

CampinCrazy

Turn KeyI think my blood is still thick from living up north for so long, this Texas heat just kills me.  But this is the weather that proves:  " The family that camps together, sticks together" .

I m looking forward to chilly nights with a warm campfire!
