Yesterday I have contected after sales service of starcraft and inquired about obtaining the manual for our PU (hehehhehe The meteorite Firefyter-emt has). Asked if I could download ti somewhere or get maybe a pdf format documentation.

They sent an e-mail back, wishing me happy camping and that an owners manual is now on its way to me in the mail.  No more trying to find additional pictures on the web [:D]

I am very pleased with their response [:)]

birolBirol, I second your opinion. When we first got our old  86 Starcraft Starlite 21-SD, we were brand new to the world of pop-ups. We had some repairs and deschniztificating to do, and Starcraft was very helpful in providing information, manuals, and especially wiring and lift-system help. Nothing but praise for that company from me.

birolIf you contact Starcraft directly and for $15.oo pprox, you can get a service manual.  It has all the wiring and break down of everything.  We got one for our  85 Starcraft that we had, it was fantastic.  DH replaced the side wall (inside of siding) that had rotted and the siding was pulling away.  It showed how to just about anything; we were told that s what the dealerships have to reference.

birolI don t think I have any pictures that I could email.  Mine is the 12  box with king bed on one end and double on the other plus dinette converts to a twin size bed.  The Nova was a top of the line type camper.  The first owners were a retired couple and the second was a couple with 2 young girls.  Both had kept it in a garage.  It has all the bells and whistles: heat, air, water tank, lots of drawers and storage, porta potti storage access door on dinette bench end, outside stowaway bin access door, in/out stove, awning, spare tire cover on back.  The typical beige color trimmed with the 3 stripes of varying deep red with the star emblazoned on it.  Oh yes, I have a PUT sticker on the upper left roof and middle of the rear tire cover.  We put down some indoor/outdoor type carpet inside.  This camper is a keeper.  It has been trouble free.  Once you get a camper, you will spend time washing and waxing it (maybe with armour all or something like that) and keeping it cleaner and more organized than you house.[:D]

Even with the purchase of the house, we are still going to purchase Firefyter-emt s PU, but now we will expect him to have mercy on US [8D][8D][8D][8D][8D]

I thought maybe with replacing the MOAT, you needed 2 PU s -- one the for the gear and one for the family.

birol

birolMoat stays ....... Forever ..... Once we are fully on our feet, we migth upgrade the PU, but moat will stay ....unless he finds a deserving home ...... then it will go without hesitation.

We bought our  85 in Aug of 2001 for $400 -- sold it the beginning of April (this year) and got $750.  The profit more than paid for the a/c that I wanted -- so we camped off the ground for almost 2 years without paying for it.[:D]

A friend wanted to buy out PU, but since we were asking $1,000 - we figured we d try to get it, if it wasn t sold by the time the PU came in, we were going to call and offer it to her for $400 (which is what the dealer wanted to give us for it).
